The weather was
beautiful in Pennridge
this weekend as a
number of tandem
students turned up for
their first jumps.
Our staff was busy
Saturday putting up |
|
| tandem loads with videos. The Kramar's introduced
a new family member to freefall. Both Larry and Andrea Kramar are
experienced skydivers, and their son David enjoyed his first freefall
this weekend after his 18th birthday. David loved freefall, and
is already looking forward to becoming certified. With over 2 hours
of tunnel time, David is on his way to being a very accomplished
skydiver. |

Again our Jersey boy Joe Andrino was MIA, he is looking
forward to doing some AFF jumps out of our new big plane.
Sunday was an exciting day as the Daddato sisters added some spice
to the DZ. Both are first time tandem students, but were very excited
about their experience. They are from Jersey and are planning on
coming back for round two. Sunday also brought out some fun jumpers
who put up several fun loads. |

Local enthusiast Kevin Morrow and his girlfriend were
out all weekend, and Kevin made several jumps. Kevin just bought
a new Javelin rig with a Sabre 2 190 and is very excited about jumping
his new gear.
This Wednesday Pennridge airport is hosting a Business Expo. Skydive
Pennridge will be sharing a booth with the airport, and should spark
some interest among expo visitors. Darren and Laura are also planning
to demo into the expo. It should be an all around exciting day with
some fly by's from local war birds, and static displays of classic
cars and planes.
Skydive Pennridge appreciates all the support from local fun jumpers,
is looking forward to putting up lots of fun loads, and getting
some of the old Herd of United Parachute Club back together.
