It was a great weekend at Skydive Pennridge! We welcomed
a of couple new members to our staff. We are very happy to have
Ed Pickens, aka "Special Ed", as our permanent Cessna
pilot. He is a great pilot, and has already flown many loads over
Skydive Pennridge. |
|
We are also pleased to have another Aussie, Jeff
Schmidt, a friend of Darren's. He helped us out tremendously this
weekend doing lots of video work.
Friday was an AFF day at Skydive Pennridge. Our pal Jersey Joe
was back out to complete another level. Some more students on
their way to graduating are Jamie Hange, Tammy Hein, and David
Kramar. Way to go guys!

Saturday was a beautiful day, and we had lots of students
out to do their first jumps. Elias Beshara and his friend Alex had
a great time, and are ready to come back for jump number two.
Sunday was a very busy day. We kept our staff going non stop. Two
of the tandem students, Jeff Schaffer and Thomas Carroll enjoyed
their jumps so much that they purchased a second, and went right
back up with their friends! I think they are already hooked. Patience
paid off for John Benedict and his friend as they enjoyed the most
scenic load of the day, the sunset load.

Not only did we enjoy a sunset jump on Sunday, but
we were also up for a sunrise jump on Monday. Julie Katsen was so
pumped to make her jump that she wanted to go first thing in the
morning! She had a great time, and is planning to come back for
more. It will be a few more years before her little brother can
jump, but he is already looking forward to it.

Everyone at Skydive Pennridge is getting ready for
the fourth of July weekend. The Super Otter will be here. We are
so excited to jump out of such a fine plane. Thanks to all the students.
We hope to see you out at Skydive Pennridge again. See you for the
