It was a bad weather weekend at Pennridge airport,
but that didn't dampen the spirits of the fun jumpers, or the instructors
at Skydive Pennridge. Friday was a fun day as Dvora Barak and her
friend Kristine enjoyed their first skydiving experience |
|
And finally, our favorite Jersey Boy returned, and
brought his (and now our) good friend Nick along for the ride as
well. Joe completed two AFF jumps Friday evening, and he loved being
out in the sky on his own. He did great under canopy and even had
a little bit of fun with his camera man in the air. We bellieve
it won't be long until we finally persuade Nick to come up and enjoy
a skydive as well. Joe Andrino is on his way to becoming the newest
AFF graduate here at Skydive Pennridge, way to go Joe!

It was also a nice weekend to see a familiar face,as
Mike Gruwell came to spend the weekend with the Pennridge staff.
Mike was visiting from his home dropzone at Atlanta
Skydiving Center in Georgia. His rigging loft, Chuting
Star Rigging Loft, has a location there, as well as one here,
and another in Alabama. We kept Mike busy teaching AFF ground schools,
and we are sure to have some great AFF students after his instruction.
Angelina Koloskova and James and Andrew Sprinch are all looking
forward to some blue skies so they can put their skills to the test. |
|
Our pilot Mike Burnett also stayed busy training new
local pilots so they can have some fun flying these crazy jumpers
around. We are more than ready to welcome some new local jump pilots.
Thanks guys!
The weather this weekend looks great, so if you're in the Pennridge
area, keep your eyes to the sky and you may just see us.
