It was a great weekend at Skydive Pennridge. We finally welcomed our new and long awaited King Air! It is a great jump plane for fun jumpers, as well as students. We all had a great weekend jumping from it. It was also nice to welcome our friends Stewart and Carl. They will be flying the king air all of this week.

We also have another visitor. Staff member Aaron Teel is having a great time skydiving with his brother Adam. Besides some rain and clouds that kept us on the ground occassionally throughout the weekend, it was a great jumping weekend. All the tandem students and jump masters were excited to jump from such a powerful aircraft. We will be bidding a fond farewell to the 205, which our pilot Ed will be ferrying to another location. We will also miss our Cessna pilot Ed, who was a great help in the past months, not to mention a spectacular pilot.

We have had several AFF students come out and jump lately. Tammy Hein, Dave Werkiser, Phil Snyder and Joe Andrino are on their way to graduating shortly. Stephen Phelan has been a model AFF student and is scheduled to complete his AFF program later today. Everyone has been learning and practicing packing, and all are doing a great job. Good job everyone, welcome to skydiving!

We are expecting some better weather this coming week, and look forward to jumping the new King Air with all of our local fun jumpers from Philadelphia and New Jersey. Hope to see you all soon!
