It was a busy week at
the Pennridge airport.
Wednesday the airport
was host to a local
business expo that
displayed about 75 local
businesses. Both the
airport and the skydiving
center had their own booth. We sparked interest among expo-goers, and hope to see many of them come out and experience their first skydive.

Friday was a great day for Skydive Pennridge as we welcomed Bob Christ, our first local pilot, who is also skydiver enthusiast. He kept us busy flying loads all weekend. Several students showed up Friday afternoon to jump, and our favorite Jersey Boy, Joe Andrino came out to complete his IAF Level III. He is looking forward to moving on to AFF, and experiencing freefall in a whole new way.
We experienced delays in our jump schedule on Saturday because of strong winds. Our student's were very understanding, and seemed to appreciate the fact that we put their safety above all else. Patience paid off for tandem students Boris and Anna, as they finally got to go for their first skydive. Sunset load Saturday was a learning load, as local AFF students David Kramar and Tammy Hein completed IAF level II and level I respectively.

All the waiting on Saturday seemed to pay off on Sunday. We couldn't have asked for a better day to skydive! Everyone stayed busy as we put loads up all day. Jamie Hange came out for the third week in a row to take another step toward certification. He is looking forward to ground school, and starting his solo skydiving career.
We had a fun crowd of postal workers from Brooklyn, and several took the leap with tandem jumps. We also added several fresh favorites to our list of new skydivers. Cameron Hienes, Stephanie Peterson, and Tom Cook enjoyed their first skydive, and we had a blast sharing the experience with them as well.

The skydive staff ended the weekend with a stop by their favorite local's house. We were invited over to the McVaugh's and had a lovely evening sharing stories. The food was excellent, the company was excellent, and we all really appreciate their hospitality.

We hope everyone had a nice and relaxing Memorial Day, and we look forward to seeing you all again soon!
